Punchinello, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

A Mezzo Bomb is a type of Bob-omb that appears in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its Nintendo Switch remake. It is larger than a normal Bob-omb and is summoned by Punchinello while he is low on health during Mario's battle with him. As Bob-ombs, Mezzo Bombs attack by blowing up, dealing high damage to a single party member. Despite being a size bigger than a Bob-omb, "mezzo" means "middle" or "half" in Italian, possibly in relation to King Bomb.
