A Flower Tab increases Mario's maximum FP (Flower Points) by one in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Flower Points are needed to perform special attacks. Additionally, Flower Tabs recover all of Mario's FP.

Flower Tabs need to be used on the item screen to increase Mario's maximum FP, unlike Flowers, which automatically increase Mario's maximum FP as soon as he picks them up.

Trivia[edit]

  • The Super Mario RPG Player's Guide incorrectly states that the Flower Tab increases Mario's maximum FP by two points.[1]
  • The Flower Tab shares a commonality with the Magic Capsule (originally translated as the "Magic Tab" due to inventory space limitations) and similar stat-boosting items from Chrono Trigger.
