Microbombs are small Bob-ombs in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Their use is first demonstrated in the Coal Mines by Croco, who uses one in an attempt to flee from Mario. Once Croco is defeated, he drops a single Microbomb (known as Bambino Bomb in the English version), which is used to proceed further in the mines. Later, an unlimited supply is seen being thrown by Punchinello at the end of the path. They are the first bombs to be thrown as well as the weakest, but they can still be a problem if they are left alone. Soon after they are defeated, more are thrown, but when Punchinello loses enough HP, they stop being thrown and are replaced by regular Bob-ombs.

Punchinello created these bombs by studying Bob-ombs. Due to their smaller size, they're also less powerful than a true Bob-omb

Trivia
- The Microbomb's Psychopath thought is a reference to the 1994 film Forrest Gump, in which the titular character's catchphrase is "stupid is as stupid does".
- The rendition of the Microbomb in the game intro is internally known as "BB-Bomb" in the English version, whereas it was blank in the Japanese version. "BB" is in reference to a round-shaped, small-sized type of ammunition.
