Yoshi Blocks[1] are objects in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (and its reissue) and Yoshi's Island DS. These blocks depict the face of the Yoshi being played as. It is the end of a segment where Yoshi is transformed from a morph bubble, returning him to normal and allowing him to continue onward with Baby Mario,[2] or the baby accompanying him in Yoshi's Island DS. If the Yoshi Block is not reached quickly enough, Yoshi returns to where the morph bubble is.[3]
