It has been requested that this article be rewritten. Reason: Decide whether to include, split, or not document Boo balloon information from Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. A few pages relating to Kingdom Battle's story link to this page, while others don't, and the Italian name from Kingdom Battle is present here despite said balloon being nowhere in the article.

Not to be confused with Balloon Boo.

A Boo Balloon[1] is a Boo in the shape of a blue balloon in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its Game Boy Advance version. Boo Balloons race about the screen, trying to deal damage to a Yoshi. They inflate when hit with an egg. After three hits, they burst, yielding coins or sometimes a ! Switch. Boo Balloons appear in Bigger Boo's Fort and Don't Look Back!, with the ones in the former called Blue Boos[1] in the Nintendo Power SNES guide due to the black background rendering the string invisible.
