A bead jar is a block that appears throughout Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World, appearing infrequently throughout a handful of levels. The block's design resembles that of a jam jar with a flip-top lid, and beads can be seen inside. When hit, either from below with a jump or from any direction with a yarn ball or Poochy Pup, several beads pop out from the top and are automatically collected. Yarn balls break on contact with a bead jar, even if they are big yarn balls or the size in between big yarn balls and yarn balls. Poochy Pups do their equivalent to this, bouncing back to Yoshi in a non-thrown state. After being hit a total of six times, the block produces one final bead, fully emptying the visible supply. The final bead usually, but not always, has a Stamp Patch/Pencil Patch. Bead jars do not open if they are hit any further times.
