A whirlpool in the sea

The sea (also known as the ocean, By The Sea[1] and the Sea Caves[1]) is an area in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Despite its name, most of the accessible area in the game is a dark blue cave, with a small sea area at the end. The name "Sea" is the term used by the Seaside locals.[1]

The sea is large and filled with several starfish creatures. It is also the site of a merchant's shop, and the entrance to the Sunken Ship.
