When in this state, Bowser deals and receives more damage. The only way to cure this effect is to eat a [[Refreshing Herb]] or have a set amount of turns pass. While in the "Fury" status, Bowser's battle pose is different, he flashes red, and he shows more anger on his face. Bowser's power can increase to about twice as much as normal.

In this state in the original Nintendo DS version, the damage Bowser deals is doubled, he takes 1.1× damage from enemies, and he loses the ability to [[Flee]] from battle. The effects make it similar to a combination of [[POW-Up]], [[DEF-Down]], and [[Prohibited Command]]. To cure this effect, Bowser can eat a [[Refreshing Herb]], let enough turns pass for it to expire, or defeat all of the enemies in the battle.
