Eggberts are enemies found in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Their name is a pun of "egg" and the male given name "Egbert". They are occasionally spat out by Birdo, in place of normal eggs. Eggberts explode on contact and can be deflected by defending. Once an Eggbert is deflected, it can be attacked. If an Eggbert is defeated, it explodes and causes heavy damage to Birdo. Eggberts have high attack power, but can be defeated by the weakest of attacks.

Trivia
- An Eggbert's Psychopath thought in the original SNES version of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is nearly identical to a Sky Troopa's.
- Birdo's eggs are given similar explosive properties in the cutscene that plays in Mario Tennis when she wins a Singles Tournament.
