Magmus, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

Magmuses are redder variants of Magmites that appear in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, being quite common in Barrel Volcano. Magmuses have extremely high defense, although are relatively weak in comparison to other enemies found throughout the world. They are spewed out by the volcano-like Stumpet, possibly indicating a relationship between the two species.

Like Magmites, Magmuses are weak to ice and resistant to jumps. However, they also resist fire, and can further increase their defense by using Valor Up.
