The Mario Clone is a clone of Mario that can be made by Belome in his temple in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its remake. As Mario is always in the party, this clone always has a chance of being created in battle, and up to two clones can be active. If Belome is defeated, any remaining clones still have to be defeated next. As revealed by his thought, the Mario Clone keeps up the silent protagonist keyfabe.
