Sledge is a special attack used by Smithy in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It is always the first attack used upon entering the battle, and hits all party members. The move involves Smithy summoning a gigantic hammer to crush the player's team.

In the Nintendo Switch remake, besides its role as a special attack, it also appears during Smithy's pre-battle intro.

In Super Mario-kun, Smithy uses this move to squash Mario, flattening him, but Bowser and Mallow (poisoned by the Director) pass him their special techniques to aid him in battle.
