Armored Ants are axe-wielding ants found in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They inhabit Barrel Volcano, hence their strength against fire-based attacks. Armored Ants have high defense. However, they are weak against ice attacks such as Mallow's Snowy. During battle, Armored Ants attack with their axes, but they can also use the skills Vigor up! and Endobubble.

Armored Ants are related to another enemy found earlier in the game called Shoguns.
