Eggberts are enemies in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Their name is a pun of "egg" and the male given name "Egbert". They are occasionally spat out by Birdo, in place of normal eggs. Eggberts explode on contact and can be deflected by defending. Once an Eggbert is deflected, it can be attacked. If an Eggbert is defeated, it explodes and causes heavy damage to Birdo.
