Doom Reverb is a magic attack that is found in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. When an enemy attempts to cast this special move, a hollow bell appears in the sky on top of the party member. The bell then rings, dropping out hollow notes onto one party member while it rings. When it is done ringing, the bell disappears. This special attack causes one party member to have the Mute status effect. This special attack can be blocked by wearing a Wake-Up Pin, Safety Badge, Safety Ring, Lazy Shell or a Super Suit. This special attack is normally used by Shy Guys, Sling Shys, Ring-a-Dings and Carroboscis. The unused variation of Hippopo, Crippo, also uses this attack.
