Fire Saber, initially translated as Mega Drain, is a magic special attack in the game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The Fire Saber attack only targets one party member. This attack is unblockable and has a magic power of 40. Equipping Booster's Charm or a Nurture Ring will cut the damage in half, while equipping Safety Ring, Lazy Shell and Super Suit will negate Fire Saber completely. Fire Saber is a fire-based special move, and its animation shows a pink beam being aimed at the target with a distinct screeching noise. As such, the users of Fire Saber are enemies with the power to manipulate fire, such as Johnny, Lava Blubble and Fire Crystal.
