Mute, also known as Silence,[1] is one of the status conditions in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. While mute, a character cannot utter a single word, thus preventing spells from being cast. With no magic, the mute character must rely on physical attacks alone. Cleansing Juice cures characters from Mute. The Wake-Up Pin, Safety Badge, and Safety Ring accessories prevent this condition.
