The Shirt is the most basic type of armor for Mario in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Despite its English name, it is actually a pair of overalls; the change was likely made due to character limits combined with the various stronger types. The Shirt has both a physical defense rating and a magical defense rating of six points, and can be bought from the shop in Mushroom Kingdom for seven coins. It is succeeded by the Thick Shirt.
