Lightning Orb is an offensive magic attack in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It is used by characters such as Boo, Glum Reaper and Octovader. It attacks one ally and can only be countered using a Safety Ring. When the attack is used, a small whitish-blue orb floats toward its target and engulfs it in an electric dome before disappearing, after which point the target takes damage.
