Beanstalk (Super Mario RPG): Difference between revisions
(I don't think decorative English text on a Japanese guide really counts as an English name any more than "The Swamp of Kellows" is one. I have removed it from the intro, but it's still in the NioL table.) |
(Added images of enemies and created an Items section.) |

The Beanstalk is an airborne collection of vines that connects Bean Valley to Nimbus Land starting from the Big Vine in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its Nintendo Switch remake. Despite there being no ground, Mario is able to walk on the clouds. Vines of different colors are scattered throughout this location, with most of them floating above the clouds, and many must be climbed on the way to the top. The only enemies here are Birdies and Big Troopas. After several vines, the Beanstalk ends with the entrance to Nimbus Land. Choosing the left vine wherever there is a fork on the road will lead Mario to the Defense Scarf and a Frog Coin, and the guarded entrance to the Nimbus royal hot springs if Mario falls from the spot where he finds these items.
The Beanstalk is still considered part of Bean Valley according to the in-game Map and Shogakukan guide,[1] although it is instead considered part of Nimbus Land in the Player's Guide.[2]
