The Lovely Dress, originally known as the Polka Dress, is the most basic type of armor for Princess Peach in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. According to its artwork, it is a bright pink dress, representing Peach's default wear. The Lovely Dress has a physical defense rating of 24 and a magical defense rating of twelve points. Unlike every other character-specific armor in the game, it is automatically equipped when she joins the party and cannot be replaced. Additionally, it is the only one of Peach's armor not to share a series with another characters', though in the Japanese, Chinese, Italian and Korean scripts it seems to share one with the Nurture Ring, an accessory. It can be sold for 80 coins, making it the most costly of her armor as well. It is succeeded by the Sailor Dress.
