Forest Maze is a labyrinth of trees and underground passages found in the game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It includes some underground caverns accessed by traveling down tree stumps as well as some regular forested areas, but the main part is a maze infested with enemies. Mario had to follow Geno through it at one time. Forest Maze was Bowyer's base of operations. A Toad (Kinopio) from Sea side ask Mario for Mushroom from Forest = iten get from Toad.

Music

The music of the Forest Maze is famous among players of the game, and was chosen as track 4 in the Arranged Version of the Super Mario RPG soundtrack. Only 5 tracks were included. In the music, many birds may be heard chirping. On both soundtracks, the music was titled, "Beware the Forest's Mushrooms!"

Hackers were able to find pointers to a removed song in the data of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The song was referenced as "snd_bgm_A12_MORINOKINOKO" (Mori no Kinoko, or "Mushroom Forest"), which may be a reference to this music. If so, it was most likely removed due to copyright issues with Square-Enix.

On the popular Japanese video site Nico Nico Douga, the area's background music was part of the "Nico Nico Douga Medley", a medley of various popular songs remixed. The version of the song included fan-made lyrics.
