Cloaker, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

Cloaker is a jester and high-ranking member of the Smithy Gang, and a boss in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its Nintendo Switch remake. He is encountered within the Weapon World, near the last bosses fought in the game. He is fought twice, consecutively, in the course of one battle. He is fought once alongside his partner, Domino, before being fought again immediately after atop his giant pet snake, Bad Adder. Mario and his party fight Cloaker and Domino after falling into a trap, challenged to a duel by them.

Cloaker excels at physical attack and defense while having a magic weakness, where his weakness is augmented by his partner, Domino, who excels at magic. If Domino is defeated first, Cloaker retreats and fuses with his pet snake, Bad Adder.

Cloaker wields both a shield and a scimitar. Much like Domino, his design appears to feature depictions of Middle Eastern culture. He dons a fez in addition to the purple and yellow striped suit of a jester's. Additionally, Cloaker himself resembles the shape of a bottle, with his fez serving as the cork or stopper - this is all the more relevant regarding his use of a cobra in the second phase of this battle.
