The Control Room is a main Quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, exclusively in the Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC. It is the final main Quest of the DLC.

After the heroes have saved all of the sets from Darkmess, they must talk to the Phantom, who has prepared a wrap party for them. He takes the heroes to the control room, and admits that there is no wrap party. Instead, he was secretly plotting his revenge against the heroes after his defeat in Spooky Trails in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. The Phantom found an opportunity when Darkmess invaded the Space Opera Network, and so if the heroes went around cleansing it, it would boost the ratings of the Space Opera Network, and thus make the Phantom more powerful. The Phantom then sings a song meant to insult Rayman, and battles the heroes.

After the heroes defeat the Phantom across three battles, he dramatically portrays his defeat, causing the heroes to applaud him. In the Control Room, the heroes spot a warp portal leading to the Mushroom Kingdom, and decide to go home. Rayman decides to stay at the Space Opera Network and says goodbye to his new friends, and realizes that not all Rabbids are bad. Rabbid Peach gives Rayman a gift, while Rayman gives the others a gift as well. They all wave goodbye to the screen, and the credits start. The Quest is then complete.

After the credits end, it is revealed that Rabbid Peach's gift to Rayman is a prop of Rabbid Mario's hat and ears, while Rayman's gift is a copy of his outfit, which all the heroes see.

Trivia

After this Quest is completed, the Phantom no longer shows up during the ratings cutscenes. Rayman takes his place instead.
