- —Beep-0, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Shot in the Darkmess is a battle in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, the third of four tutorial battles in the game's prologue, taking place on a rocky platform after Mario and Rabbid Peach are ejected from the Darkmess Manta. Unlike the previous battle, the Heroes can now use their weapons. This battle introduces enemies hiding behind Partial Cover. Clearing this battle triggers a cutscene and leads to the final tutorial battle, Headlong into the Unknown. This battle does not reward XP, Coins or Star Bits.
Layout[edit]
The battle takes place on a large square area with several destroyable blocks. The Stooges at the back are in Partial Cover behind shorter blocks.
Battle[edit]
The player must defeat all three Stooges to win the battle.
