“I cannot say, only that they put my dear musicians in danger and terrorize the Fallen Stars... ...and have driven my dearest friend into hiding - without whom, we cannot perform our biophonies... ...and without our biophonies, the Melodic Gardens will fade to nothingness - a silent coda to the galaxy.”
Allegra, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Allegra is a female Rabbid who appears in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, specifically in The Last Spark Hunter DLC. She is the warden of the Melodic Gardens. Allegra wields a bio tuner as a weapon, and also to start up biophonies whenever it glows. She has a pet Dorrie that helped bring the biophonies of the planet higher than ever heard before. Her name means "Happy" in Italian, but it is also based on the musical tempo "Allegro".

Appearance[edit]

Allegra is a somewhat tall female Rabbid with very long blue hair extending behind her. Across her eyes is purple face paint, and her eyes themselves are blue. Allegra wears leaf "clothing" that somewhat resembles a dress. On her arms are green armbands, and around her neck is a necklace with rocks attached.

Personality[edit]

While the heroes are exploring the jungle of the Melodic Gardens, Allegra is spying on them above, being very cautious while doing so. After the heroes save the Rabbid musicians, Allegra shows herself to the heroes, respecting them. When Allegra talks she sounds quiet, almost talking in whispers. Allegra deeply cares for her friends, especially her pet Dorrie, whom she hugs after reuniting with it. Allegra is not afraid of danger, and would do anything to protect her friends and Melodic Gardens.

History[edit]

Background[edit]

The murals found all over the Melodic Gardens tell the story of Allegra. She was an outsider that landed in the Melodic Gardens, creating music of her own, which the Rabbid inhabitants initially were skeptical about, but became more interested as time went on. Allegra also found and befriended the Dorrie, who made the planet musical. She was given her bio tuner as a gift from the Rabbids.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: The Last Spark Hunter[edit]

Allegra is briefly shown to be spying on the heroes from above while they were exploring the jungle of the Melodic Gardens, but revealed herself to them after the heroes save the Rabbid musicians. Allegra tells the heroes about who she is and what is currently happening on the planet, including of a new Spark Hunter, which Edge is confused about. The heroes follow Allegra so that she can find her "friend", but Kanya shows up and tells Allegra that her pet may be in danger. Allegra, suddenly filled with regret and sorrow, apologizes and runs off to find her pet, while Kanya uses the Proto Mecha King Bob-omb to attack the heroes.

When the heroes catch up with Allegra, they find her reunite with her friend, who is revealed to be a Dorrie, but it is imprisoned. Kanya then attacks the heroes with her Mecha King Bob-omb. During the battle, the heroes free the Dorrie, and all unite together to defeat Kanya for good.

After Kanya is defeated, the music and biophonies are restored to the Melodic Gardens, and Allegra thanks the heroes by showing them a biophony herself.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: Rayman in the Phantom Show[edit]

While Allegra does not appear in the Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC, she is briefly mentioned by a Rabbid regarding her collaboration with DJ Cheep Tuna.

Mural information[edit]

The following is a list of quotes from Beep-0 regarding several murals throughout the Melodic Gardens involving Allegra. The first mural is found in the Swamp, while the other eight are located throughout the Flooded Ruins.

Mural 1
  • "Hmm... this looks to be the first of several artwork depicting some of the Melodic Gardens."
  • "Ahem "Some dawn songs ago, when the moon shone bright, a silver star fell upon the Melodic Gardens. We wondered if it had come to lead us to the Lost Melody."?"
Mural 2
  • "'She is here to disrupt the melody of our gardens!' we said. 'Watch! She will uproot the Drum Pods and Shake Plants and steal them away to her planet!'""
  • "And so we watched. We watched, and also we listened."
Mural 3
  • "'Show this stranger nothing of the secrets,' we said. 'She will destroy our wildsongs, and the Lost Melody will stay hidden forever!'"
Mural 4
  • "We watch with wonder as the stranger did not pry Lyre Trees and Clap Mouths from the soil, but coaxed strange and new songs from them."
  • "'This music is stiff, as if made from instruments of deadwood,' we said, but soon the stranger made our garden sing and thrum and beat as one."
Mural 5
  • "The stranger, Allegra, had became one with the Melodic Gardens, and the biophony was reborn! 'Perhaps she will lead us to the Lost Melody after all,' we said."
Mural 6
  • ""Allegra came to the pond to conduct her biophony, and so we joined her. The music was loud and traveled far, and the pond trembled as a Wondrous Beast rose from water!"??"
Mural 7

ALLEGRA

Allegra is a fascinating study. An eco musician of rare ability, she is perfectly in tune with the natural world - even her skin's pigmentation adapts to its mood. She wields her bio tuner like a baton, somehow bringing a unified vision to the collective sounds of an entire biome. It is her life's calling. It is not difficult to understand why, yet she is still somehow a mystery to me. One I fear I may never solve.
