Gerspard is a minor NPC character who appears in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located in Barrendale Mesa. He is an artist Rabbid who has created the murals of the wardens on the other planets. He has a robot critic known as Da Da. Gerspard wears a brown coat, with brown pants to match, along with a yellow monocle with a blue lens on his left eye.

History[edit]

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope[edit]

After the heroes clear out the first Darkmess Tentacle, they can find Gerspard outside the windmill area. He has a side quest for the heroes, named Tortured Artist, where the heroes have to find Da Da and the Spark Scoper Master. They are located in the Danger Zone, where Da Da is trapped in a Darkmess Puddle, and must be saved in a battle, known as Da Da in Danger. After the battle, Da Da is saved and reunites with Gerspard, and Scoper Master joins the heroes on their adventure.

Gerspard makes a small cameo in the Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC, in which he is found in the Backing Studio. He has the Art at Stake side Quest for the heroes, in which they have to clear out a Darkmess Puddle to save his set.

GERSPARD

It is a mistake to assume that Barrendale Mesa is home to only Momma and a few Rabbids. Other colorful figures have sought refuge there from more constrictive society, including the artist Gerspard and his most devoted critic Da Da.
Gerspard is behind the greatest works of the galaxy, from the frescos of the Sunrise Temple, to the murals of Barrendale Mesa, always with Da Da nearby, quietly judging.

Trivia[edit]

  • Gerspard's dialogue portrait depicts him with yellow eyes and eyelashes as opposed to the blue eyes seen on his model.
