Blue Coin Challenge is a Side Quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on all planets.

Description[edit]

On each planet is a mechanical-looking blue Warp Pipe that houses a larger mechanical room containing a P-Switch. The Quest begins by activating it, making a set of Blue Coins appear for a limited time. Collecting all the Blue Coins in a set makes another set appear. Collecting all the Blue Coins from the last set completes the Quest and the player is rewarded with a Planet Coin from that planet, a treasure chest containing coins, and a Probe containing a Memory regarding that planet.

Locations and coin phases[edit]

Beacon Beach[edit]

On the first floor of the Lighthouse, on the opposite side of the entrance. First a square of nine coins appears around the P-Switch, then eight coins in a line goin up the ramp, then ten coins in an "L" shapes leading back to the center which the heroes must drop down from the ledge to easily obtain, and finally three small groups consisting of three blue coins each appear close to the center.

Pristine Peaks[edit]

Found near the Toad Trouble on Pristine Peaks Side Quest. First a group of eights coins appears around the P-Switch, then six coins in an "L" shape lead towards the ramp at the left, then four coins appear on the higher ground, which the heroes can access if they use Beep-0's Wave Power to break a block, then four blue coins appear at the right high ground, which another destroyable block obstructs, and finally eight coins appear below the high ground, behind another destructible block.

Palette Prime[edit]

Inside the Spellbound Woods, atop a ladder on the path to the Abandoned Well. First five coins appear with four of them floating in the air. The heroes must use Beep-0's Scan Power to reveal an invisible bridge to obtain them, and then th last coin. After that, six coins appear in a backwards "L" shape, leading to the ramp on the left. The heroes can easily obtain these coins if they drop down from the center ledge. Six more coins will then appear in an "r" shape, on the ramp and leading to the pushable block. Finally eight coins appear behind a gate that can be removed if the pushable block is on a switch.

Terra Flora[edit]

In Mt. Spout, near the Golden Pipe and the Darkmess Puddle for the Metalheads battle. First seven coins appear leading down the left ramp, then six coins appear over the Wave Power bridge on the top right, which the players can walk on if they activate a switch nearby with Beep-0's Wave Power. After that six coins appear on the Wave Power bridge below the high ground in the center, then six coins appear in a line leading to the southwestern area, where another Wave Power bridge is, as well as a pushable block. Finally, six coins appear behind the gate that can be unlocked by pushing the pushable block onto the nearby switch.

Barrendale Mesa[edit]

Inside the Windmill area, in a side area close to a Spellraiser. First seven coins leading over a Wave Power bridge and to the northeastern area must be collected, then eight coins in a line leading over the Wave Power bridge at the southwestern area appear, then four coins leading up the left Wave Power ramp appear. The heroes must carry a blue sphere to a switch to allow the heroes to unlock a gate to a Wave Power switch to construct the ramp. Four coins will then appear above the topmost Wave Power bridge, and then finally nine coins appear at the southeastern Wave Power platform.

Melodic Gardens[edit]

In the Concert Pond, close to the exit leading to the Swamp. First, six coins leading up the left ramp appear, then six coins in two separate groups of three appear close to the pipe at both entrances to it. A big block to the right of the pipe must be lowered by using Beep-0's Wave Power on it. Then four coins appear floating above the ground. The heroes must raise the block they had just lowered to allow them to obtain these coins. Two groups of three coins each will then appear at separate areas, with one group close to a ledge on the right side, and the other group at the bottom middle area. Finally, four coins appear at the left area floating above the ground. The heroes must raise a movable block by using Beep-0's Wave Power to allow them to reach these coins.
