According to its artwork, it is a green shell with yellow spikes and orange rings, representing Bowser's default shell. The Happy Shell has a physical defense rating of six and a magical defense rating of three points. Like the rest of the "Happy" armor series, it can be bought from the shop in Marrymore's hotel, specifically for 38 coins. It is succeeded by the Courage Shell.
