Battle[edit]

Clusters are always seen in battle with other monsters, and have a high resistance to jump attacks. A Cluster attacks by "shattering" its outer shell into fragments, revealing a small smiling creature; the crystal pieces immediately cover them back up before the foe attacks. The Cluster can also use the Crystal spell as well as Psyche, a special attack which causes it to self-destruct and instantly down a party member, unless the move is blocked or else nullified by an accessory. The Cluster's thought alludes to its Psyche ability.
