Flip blocks are flat yellow blocks with two sideways arrows that appear in Super Paper Mario. When hit from below, these blocks stretch and subsequently flip from 2-D to 3-D or vice versa, allowing Mario or other characters to reach new areas or access floating doors. A variation found in The Bitlands follows a more segmented design, but it otherwise behaves identically.
