Armored Ants are a stronger variant of Shogun in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They inhabit Barrel Volcano, hence their strength against fire-based attacks. Armored Ants have high defense. However, they are weak against ice attacks such as Mallow's Snowy. During battle, Armored Ants attack with their axes, but they can also use the skills Vigor Up and Endobubble.
