A sign is close to the Armored Goomba, which tells the heroes that the difficulty of an enemy is symbolized the number and color above them, thus warning the heroes of the high leveled Armored Goomba. The Goomba with the Pot on its Head is a Quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Beacon Beach. The objective of this quest is to defeat an Armored Goomba blocking a treasure chest that contains the Vintage Discruptor for Rabbid Luigi. The Armored Goomba is located at the top left corner of Beacon Beach. The Armored Goomba starts at level 10, but can reach higher levels to match the player's level. A sign is close to the Armored Goomba, which tells the heroes that the difficulty of an enemy is symbolized the number and color above them, thus warning the heroes of the high leveled Armored Goomba. After the Armored Goomba is defeated, the Quest is complete, and the heroes are awarded a Planet Coin, as well as access to the treasure chest containing the Vintage Discruptor.

The battle is always random, but the heroes must survive for 6 turns against many Armored Goombas, as well as some Stooges on a medium sized battlefield. During the battle, indestructible Darkmess Portals will appear, containing Armored Goombas, which may result in an army of Armored Goombas. After 6 turns have passed and at least one hero remains, the battle is won.
