Flightless Skeleton Goonies[1] are enemies that appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Yoshi Touch & Go, Yoshi's Island DS, Yoshi's New Island, and Yoshi's Woolly World. They are simply Skeleton Goonies that do not have wings, similar to Flightless Goonies. In all of their appearances, Flightless Skeleton Goonies travel in groups of six, and move extremely fast, much like their living cousins.

Flightless Skeleton Goonies and Skeleton Goonies make a minor appearance in Super Princess Peach, where they appear in the background of the Wavy Beach minigame in the level where Gooper Blooper is fought.

  • Shogakukan guide: 骨になっても足は速い。地面をつっ走ってくるので、ぶつからないように。[2] (Even reduced to bone, it is still fast. It will come trotting along the ground, so don't bump into it.)
  • Player's Guide: Also known by their scientific name, Flightless skeleton goonum. Or, less formally, Eeek![1]
  • Shogakukan guide (Game Boy Advance version): 骨になっても足は速い。地面をつっ走って来るので、ぶつからないように。[3] (Even reduced to bone, it is still fast. It will come trotting along the ground, so don't bump into it.)

Yoshi's New Island

  • Shogakukan guide: ホネだけになったあほーむし。あほーむしと同様に地面をすばやく移動するが、群れで行動することはまれ。接触する前にすばやく食べるか、踏みつけて倒そう。[4](A Flightless Goonie that has been reduced to only a skeleton. Like the Flightless Goonie, they move quickly on the ground, but rarely in packs. Eat them quickly or trample them down before you come in contact with them.)
