Daisy Circuit makes its classic course debut in Mario Kart Tour starting with the Princess Tour. The starting line is now blue, and the logo is now the modern Mario Kart series one, with the colors across the logo no longer being a gradient; purple has been added to the color scheme as well. The road now has a blue tint. The streetlamps have been rotated 90° counterclockwise. The fountains are now one big fountain rather than multiple small fountains in a circle. The road in this section is now patterned instead of being a simple tarmac road, and most of the course's spectators have been removed. The statues have been redesigned slightly, with Daisy and Luigi's statues now lacking mouths, Daisy's statue lacking eyelashes, and Baby Daisy's statue now having its eyes open. The statues are also more golden. The lighthouse appears to be turned off now. The Daisy Candy billboard uses a 2D artwork of Daisy instead of 3D artwork. The traffic cones have been removed solely from the opening section of the course, and a wooden cutout has been added before the shortcut; as a result, the shortcut is no longer offroad. The minimap now reflects the various elevated sections of the course, and said sections can be reached from normal elevation if the racer steers into them enough. It also now includes the pavement bordering the main road in the town section.

Daisy Circuit is the first course of the Star Cup in Mario Kart Wii. It is a tarmac road that drives through a seaside resort. The course travels across a seaside town with a sunset background on a shore. It follows Daisy's appearance, with various flower motifs found throughout the level. There is also a docking area with a lighthouse and cruise ships (including Daisy Cruiser from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!). Small baroque-style buildings can be seen from the background. In the figure-8 portion of the track, there are two circular fountains. On the top of the first fountain is a large golden statue of Daisy and Luigi dancing. The other statue shows Baby Luigi swinging Baby Daisy.

Despite it being a circuit course, Daisy Circuit does not use the main circuit theme of the game (the music played in Luigi Circuit and Mario Circuit). Instead, it has its own unique theme to fit its seaside setting and character, which has some parts of the main circuit theme arranged. An arrangement of its theme appears as one of the selectable songs in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

Daisy Circuit reappears in Mario Kart Tour starting with the Princess Tour, and in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass as the third course of the Acorn Cup.

Course layout

The course takes place in a small town near the ocean at sunset, and the Daisy Cruiser can be seen in the background, but with a gray exhaust pipe instead of an original one. It begins with a very slight left turn followed by the first set of Item Boxes. Racers then enter a town where Toads, Piantas, Boos and Sledge Bros. line the streets. Here there is a gradual U-turn to the right; the road constantly zigzags along this turn and features traffic cones. There is then a figure-8 shaped section where two large circular fountains occupy the middle of the track and racers must go left or right around both. A statue is on top of each fountain; one is of Daisy and Luigi, and the other is of Baby Luigi and Baby Daisy. When the player is playing as a Mii, the heads of the fountains will be replaced by Mii heads. Daisy and Baby Daisy are replaced by female Mii heads, while Luigi and Baby Luigi are changed to male Mii heads. On either side of the second fountain is another set of Item Boxes.

Racers then enter a tunnel with a low ceiling and more traffic cones, along with Miis which cheer for racers. They take a right turn and then serpentine as they take a slight left turn and exit the tunnel. Here the track greatly narrows and there is a brief straightaway until racers reach a lighthouse; there is first a slight left followed by a sharp U-turn to the right around the lighthouse and then another slight left. On the inside of this turn is more traffic cones and the start of the turn contains the last item set. Additionally, racers have the option to drive onto an elevated sidewalk on the outside of the U-turn, with a lone Item Box at both ends of the sidewalk. Afterwards, the track greatly narrows again, though there is another elevated sidewalk to the left of it, and racers take another brief straightaway. There is then a gradual left turn and racers reach the finish line. The aforementioned sidewalk to the left of the track also continues past the finish line until the U-turn at the beginning of the track.

Daisy Circuit is one of only two Wii tracks to not feature any moving course parts, the other being Luigi Circuit. It is also the only Wii track to not feature any hazards that make racers spin out or flip over.

Shortcuts

The only notable shortcut can be found along the U-turn at the beginning of the track. Instead of driving to the left of a pink building, the player can use a Mushroom to drive up a narrow staircase through the building. The staircase itself is off-road but has two dash panels, a ramp, and an Item Box at the end. After going off the ramp, the player will land to the right of the first fountain.

Tournaments

October 2009's second tournament required players to pass through 22 gates on Daisy Circuit. Players first go up the staircase with the help of a ground Mushroom, then spend the remainder of the mission driving in a figure-8 shape around the two fountains. This is the only gate tournament to take place on a race track without following its intended route. The tournament was later repeated as the first tournament of August 2011, the second tournament of October 2012, and the first tournament of January 2014.

Mario Kart Tour

The course also appears as Daisy Circuit R (reversed), Daisy Circuit T (with ramps), and Daisy Circuit R/T (reversed with ramps). In the R variant, there is a glide ramp on each side of the first fountain, and tricks can be performed off of the Luigi and Daisy fountain. In the T variant, there are four Rocky Wrenches in the first section of the course.

With Daisy Circuit's inclusion in Mario Kart Tour, every Daisy-themed course in the Mario Kart series and all Star Cup tracks originating from Mario Kart Wii have appeared as a classic course at least once.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Daisy Circuit returns in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as part of the sixth and final wave of the Booster Course Pass DLC. It appears as the third course of the Acorn Cup. The course is based on its appearance from Mario Kart Tour, with graphical enhancements. A hang gliding ramp has been added to the shortcut of the stairs at the start of the runway; the stairs themselves are offroad again despite the Piranha Plant cutout added in Tour being retained. A trick ramp has been added after the tunnel. Dash Panels have been added to the turn around the lighthouse. Similar to Wii Coconut Mall, the paved road has become orange, and the classic road returns to its original gray color. While the track is still set at sunset, the sky is no longer exclusively orange. There is now an extra flute in the intro of the course's music. The minimap has been rotated 90° clockwise, and the staircase shortcut is now depicted on the map of the course. Vehicle headlights do not turn on when in the tunnel section.

With Daisy Circuit's inclusion, every Star Cup course originating from Mario Kart Wii appears in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Daisy Circuit's reveal also makes Wave 6 the only wave of the Booster Course Pass to not have a Mario Kart Tour course or a prefixless course be the first course revealed for it. It is also one of two courses from Mario Kart Wii to appear in Wave 6, the other being Wii Rainbow Road.

Internally, the course is referred to as "Cnsw_66", implying it may have originally been intended to be the second course of the Spiny Cup. However, within the list of course prefixes left in the game's files in the 2.0.0 update, a "GCN" prefix was originally assigned to that slot, meaning Daisy Circuit presumably replaced a planned Mario Kart: Double Dash!! course sometime in development.
