Appears in Mario Kart Tour

The Wild Slugger is a High-End kart in Mario Kart Tour. It made its debut in the 2022 Los Angeles Tour. The Wild Slugger is a black and gold variant of the Pinch Hitter, including the tires, and it has a brown steering wheel. Unlike the Pinch Hitter, this kart increases the duration of Dash Panel boosts and the number of points earned for using a Dash Panel. The Wild Slugger is the first High-End kart and item overall to appear as a reward for placing high in the ranked cup.

The Wild Slugger possesses a golden variant, aptly called the Gold Wild Slugger, that debuted in the 2023 Summer Tour as a High-End kart.
