Fury Blocks are a type of block appearing in the Bowser's Fury campaign of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. They are slightly larger, metallic versions of Rock Blocks with Bowser's emblem plastered in black on every side. These blocks cannot be broken by normal means, instead requiring the power of Fury Bowser's fury blasts. While Fury Bowser is active, the Bowser emblems on a group of Fury Blocks will flash red if Mario goes near them, indicating that they will be targeted by Fury Bowser's next fury blast. If one of these fire beams hits a group of Fury Blocks, they will break, revealing something inside or behind them.
All twelve major islands in Bowser's Fury contain a mission called Blast the Fury Blocks, which requires Fury Bowser's presence in order to break a set of Fury Blocks and obtain the Cat Shine that was hidden behind them. Two groups of Fury Blocks near the Ruins and Wasteland Giga Bells reveal a Clear Pipe Cannon when destroyed, allowing Mario to reach and collect the "Gazing Down at the Islands" and "Gazing Over the Falls" Cat Shines, respectively. Additionally, several columns of Fury Blocks behind Pipe Path Tower act as a blockade, and their removal allows easier access to Roiling Roller Isle.
