Fort Flaptrap is an island located on Lake Lapcat, the main location of the Bowser's Fury campaign of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It is one of the few islands that surrounds the Lakeside Giga Bell. The island features a castle-like building and Red-Blue Panels, some of which lead to pits of lava.

Cat Shines[edit]

Collecting a Cat Shine in Bowser's Fury Bully the Cat Bullies The player must knock all of the Cat Bullies on top of the tower into a lava pit by using the open spaces created by the Red-Blue Panels. There is also a hidden Super Star that can be used to defeat all of the Cat Bullies.
Collecting a Cat Shine in Bowser's Fury Blue Coin Bustle A P-Switch can be found in front of the entrance gate to the island. Once it is activated, Mario must collect all of the Blue Coins that are located on top of the Red-Blue Panels before they disappear.
Collecting a Cat Shine in Bowser's Fury Show's Over, Cat Magikoopas Mario must defeat all of the Cat Magikoopas in order to get a Cat Shine.
Collecting a Cat Shine in Bowser's Fury Five Cat Shine Shards The player must collect five Cat Shine Shards scattered around the island.
Collecting a Cat Shine in Bowser's Fury Blast the Fury Blocks Mario must make Fury Bowser use his attacks to break open some Fury Blocks on the island.

Notes[edit]

  • The mission "Bully the Cat Bullies" is a reference to the mission "Bully the Bullies" from Super Mario 64, in both its name and the mission of knocking Bullies into the lava.
