Shadows are powerful phantoms in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They are found in Kero Sewers, and usually fight in groups of two to four, sometimes accompanied by Rat Funks.

In a fight, a Shadow will pound a party member with its forelimbs, or shoot a physical energy blast.
