Room 8-2 (titled Room 7-2 in the British English version) is the second course of Jungle Hijinks in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This level introduces Snapjaws.
The course features four Mini Marios.
Overview[edit]
The course is divided into three levels. One Mini Mario begins in the middle left, with a Snapjaw and the exit above it and another Snapjaw and a Yellow Spring; six Pink Block spaces are arranged in an A formation nearby, with the space near the Snapjaw and Yellow Spring filled in. To the right of the Pink Blocks are two vines on the middle level, as well as two more Mini Marios on the two lowest levels, with two more Pink Block spaces near the Mini Marios. Beyond the Pink Block gaps are a Yellow Spring on the lowest level and a Blue Spring on the middle level; on the highest level above the springs is a bridge of Pink Blocks, and a vine spanning the bottom two levels is to the right of them. Beyond the vine is a Warp Pipe connecting the top and middle levels, and a Yellow Spring and the fourth Mini Mario below the Warp Pipe. Another Snapjaw is to the right of this Mini Mario, blocked off by some Pink Blocks. To reach the exit, the player should guide the Snapjaws into the vines so they can eat the large vine and allow the Minis to take the pipe to the top and walk across the Pink Blocks to the exit, taking care not to let the Snapjaws touch the Minis.
Mini Mario Card[edit]
The Mini Mario Card is in between the two vines on the middle level near two of the Mini Marios. It can be collected by placing and removing Pink Blocks so that the Snapjaw in the top left falls onto the middle level and eats the vines around the card. After luring away the nearby Mini Mario away, another can walk safely into the card.
