Room 5-1 (titled Room 4-1 in the British English version) is the first course of Lava Dome in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This level introduces Spyguys, Fire Bars, and lava.

The course features three Mini Marios.

Overview[edit]

The bottom of the course has lava with two platforms moving on it. Directly above the lava are three Spyguys moving near one of the Mini Marios, and above them is a single Spyguy in between the other two Mini Marios. The exit is located on the second level to the right of the Minis' starting positions, below a Fire Bar. The player should guide the Minis onto the elevator in the middle of the course, then take the Minis to the second level while avoiding the Fire Bar.

Mini Mario Card[edit]

The Mini Mario Card is near the rightmost side of the second floor, just above a Fire Bar. To collect it, the player should guide a Mini onto the elevator or the Yellow Spring on the level below, then direct the Mini into the card.

Star scores[edit]

  • A silver star symbol. Used as the cleanest possible way to represent silver stars in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, since ripping sprites cleanly from that game is notoriously difficult. Silver star: 13200 points
