Room 2-6 (titled Room 1-6 in the British English version) is the sixth course of Tropical Island in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This level introduces ? Blocks, Fire Flowers, and Capture Kongs.
The course features three Mini Marios.
Overview[edit]
One Mini Mario starts out in a room at the left containing a single Warp Pipe, another starts in a room at the bottom with a ? Block, and the third starts near the top right; all three are blocked by yellow gates. The Goal Door is located on the right of the level. To reach it, the player should move the second Mini Mario and have it jump on the red Color Switch nearby; this also releases a Fire Flower from the ? Block. After the Mini Mario travel through the Warp Pipe at the left, it joins the Mini Mario on the left; the player should guide them to the right so the Mini Mario at the front walks into the Fire Flower and becomes Fire Mini Mario, then tap Fire Mini Mario to throw a fireball at the Capture Kong. With the Capture Kong temporarily stunned, the player can guide the third Mini Mario, as well as the other two, into a Warp Pipe at the bottom right. The pipe takes the Mini Marios onto the top ledge, where they can simply walk right until they enter the Goal Door.
Mini Mario Card[edit]
The Mini Mario Card is located in the middle of the level, just above the girder the Capture Kong is standing on. To obtain it, the player should follow the same route to the Goal Door, but after hitting the Capture Kong with a fireball, have a Mini Mario jump when it is directly below the Mini Mario Card.
