Room 5-5 (titled Room 4-5 in the British English version) is the fifth course of Lava Dome in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This level introduces Fire Blocks and logs.

The course features three Mini Marios.

Overview[edit]

A Mini Mario begins in the top left, surrounded by two logs; to the right of it is a row of Fire Blocks above a Blue Spring, which the player should remove to burn the logs and allow the Mini to escape. To the right of the Fire Blocks is another Blue Spring, which the Minis can bounce on to reach a T-shaped log formation blocking the second Mini Mario. Another log is blocking a passage on the same level as the first Blue Spring. On the bottom level is a longer log blocking the third Mini Mario from above, with a Yellow Spring to the right of this log; two pits of lava are below the left part of the log and on the right of the Yellow Spring, both with Fire Block gaps above them. The exit is in the bottom right, behind a log structure; to reach it, the player should remove the Fire Blocks, then burn the logs blocking off the Mini Marios and the door, taking care to not let the Minis touch the logs as they burn. They can then lead the Mini Marios to the goal.

Mini Mario Card[edit]

The Mini Mario Card is at the top of the log structure surrounding the exit. It can be collected by having a Mini Mario fall onto a nearby Blue Spring so it jumps onto the top.
