Room 2-3 (titled Room 1-3 in the British English version) is the third course of Tropical Island in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This level introduces Bloopers, which remain in place at first but hover for a few seconds upon a Mini approaching them, as well as rafts, which can carry a Mini to protect it from drowning in water.

This course features two regular Mini Marios and one Gold Mini Mario.

Overview[edit]

The course is split int two levels, with one regular Mini Mario starting at the top; the other regular Mini Mario starts on the bottom left, while the Gold Mini Mario starts on a girder in the middle of the lower level. Also on the bottom level are two bodies of water, which can drown a Mini if it falls in; they can cross the water by boarding one of the rafts moving left and right. One raft is in the left body of water, and two rafts are in the one on the right. To reach the top level, the Minis can use a Blue Spring to jump up. The exit is located in the top left; to reach it, the player should place down Pink Blocks to form bridges, then pass underneath two Bloopers as they hover upward.

Mini Mario Card[edit]

The Mini Mario Card is found near the top right corner of the level. It can be collected by placing Pink Blocks underneath it, then having a Mini Mario jump to it.
