"Flower Field BGM,"[1] also known as "Yoshi's Island,"[2] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island that plays in most of the game's overworld levels.

Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3[edit]

An arrangement of "Yoshi's Island" by Taiju Suzuki can be heard in Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. This version is more compressed than the original version and uses different, lower-quality synthetic instruments.

Super Smash Bros. series[edit]

Super Smash Bros. Brawl[edit]

Super Smash Bros. Brawl features a jazz arrangement of the theme by Noriyuki Iwadare, titled "Yoshi's Island", played on saxophone, trumpet, and harmonica. The track also includes an arrangement of "Obstacle Course" from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Following an original bridge, the key of the theme lowers by three half-steps in the second half of the track. The track can be played on the Yoshi's Island stage.

The arrangement returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now titled "Yoshi's Island (Brawl)", where it can be played on any Super Smash Bros.-series and Yoshi-series stage.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U features an upbeat, synth-focused arrangement of the theme by Yoshihito Yano, titled "Yoshi's Island", played on keyboard and brass. The track also includes a lively arrangement of the music box opening from the beginning of the game, and at the end of the song before it loops, an arrangement of the world map theme can be heard. The track can be played on the Woolly World stage.

The arrangement returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now titled "Yoshi's Island (for 3DS / Wii U)", where it can be played on any Super Smash Bros.-series and Yoshi-series stage.

Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge[edit]

Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge features several arrangements of "Yoshi's Island" that all play in Egg Launch Land, Mini Yoshi's world. The level intro theme, both level themes, the win fanfare, and the lose fanfare are all arrangements of "Yoshi's Island."
