New Super Mario Bros. 2[edit]

The theme reappears unmodified in New Super Mario Bros. 2. In addition, when Mario or Luigi are in their Raccoon/Fox forms, a woodblock beat will play in the theme, much like other courses in the game. Likewise, touching a Gold Ring will add a bell synth arpeggiator on the theme.

New Super Mario Bros. U / New Super Luigi U / New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe[edit]

The theme returns unmodified again in New Super Mario Bros. U, with an additional arrangement containing vocalizations being played when a Baby Yoshi is held. The original theme and its arrangement are reused for the same purposes in New Super Luigi U and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.

Super Mario Run[edit]

A version without "Baah" vocalizations is featured in Super Mario Run.

Super Mario Maker 2[edit]

In the New Super Mario Bros. U style of Super Mario Maker 2, the original theme returns unmodified. A rearrangement of the theme is played when editing courses in this style. Nighttime versions of both themes are also present.
