Itsunomanika Heihō are rare Shy Guy enemies appearing in every game of the Yoshi's Island series, beginning with Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and followed by its port, then Yoshi's Island DS, and most recently Yoshi's New Island. Itsunomanika Heihō appears as a normal Shy Guy and hides behind foreground objects, such as crystals; if a Yoshi runs through the hiding spot, a Bandit will appear and run off with Baby Mario, leaving the Itsunomanika Heihō in his place. If Yoshi approaches the Shy Guy, grabs him, and spits him back out, it will become visible, but continue standing motionless. This does not affect Yoshi himself in any way, and the Shy Guy can be knocked off and then defeated with any attack. In Yoshi's Island, it is a green Shy Guy, while in Yoshi's Island DS and Yoshi's New Island, it is red.
