The "Athletic Theme"[1] is a musical theme composed for Super Mario World by Koji Kondo. It is an upbeat ragtime arrangement of the Super Mario World "Ground Theme".

Composition

The "Athletic Theme", originally titled 「アスレチックBGM」 (Asurechikku BGM, "Athletic BGM") in the game's official soundtrack, is in the key of C major.
