"Bonus Men BGM" is a musical theme composed for Super Mario World by Koji Kondo. It is a playful arrangement of the Super Mario World "Ground Theme" that plays during the bonus game minigame and in 1-Up Chambers, and is in the key of F major.

In Paper Mario, a short arrangement of "Bonus Men BGM" is quoted in the "Victory Parade" credits theme.
Super Mario series[edit]
Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2[edit]
An arrangement of "Bonus Men BGM" is included in the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World, Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2. This version is more compressed than the original and uses different, lower-quality synthetic instruments.
Super Mario Galaxy[edit]
In Super Mario Galaxy, an arrangement of "Bonus Men BGM" plays when collecting the notes in the Deep Dark Galaxy secret room in the mission "Bubble Blastoff".
This arrangement returns in Super Mario Galaxy 2, where it plays when collecting the notes in the Puzzle Plank Galaxy, and in Super Mario 3D Land for several sets of notes.
Super Mario Odyssey[edit]
In Super Mario Odyssey, an arrangement of "Bonus Men BGM", titled "Above the Clouds" and arranged by Shiho Fujii, is used in some of the game's challenge areas.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder[edit]
In Super Mario Bros. Wonder, after clearing the course Break Time! Wonder Token Tunes, the ending thirteen notes of the theme are played on the glockenspiel as coins appear at the corresponding note positions on the staff, with the final note being a Wonder Seed.
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix[edit]
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix features a hip-hop arrangement of "Bonus Men BGM", titled "Step by Step", as a playable song.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U features an arrangement medley titled "Super Mario World Medley" that incorporates arrangements of "Bonus Men BGM", the Super Mario World "Ground Theme", the course clear theme, Star World's theme, the "Super Star" theme, and the "Ground Theme" from Super Mario Bros. The medley was arranged by Bandai Namco composer Hiroshi Okubo, and it can be played on the Yoshi's Island and Super Mario Maker stages.
The medley returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where it can be on any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.
