Super Mario 3D World
In Super Mario 3D World, trapezes consist of a long horizontal white bar hanging from a brass pole by five solid glowing beams. The colors of the beams constantly cycle to create a rainbow effect. If contact is made with the beams first, the character will slide down to the bar. When trapezes are not being used, they sway back and forth on their own.
Trapezes are introduced in Tricky Trapeze Theater and later used in Rainbow Run, usually found alongside seesaw platforms in the former or rotating circular platforms in the latter.
